Senate Majority Leader endorses the National Equality March.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is supporting the National Equality March, according to an article by 365 Gay Newswire. He announced his support Sept. 30 in a letter that was addressed to the committee members of the march.

“I write to join you in your commitment to ensure equality under law,” Reid said in his letter. Derek Washington, the Clark County Nevada Democratic Black Caucus director as well as the director of diversity outreach for the National Equality March, said that “we are honored that Senator Reid has endorsed the National Equality March and our fight for full equality.”
