Second gay bishop ordained by Episcopal Church

An openly lesbian bishop received final approval from the Episcopal Church on Wednesday, making her the second openly gay ordained bishop in the church's history.

Mary Glasspool joins Gene Robinson, another openly gay Bishop from the Episcopal Church in New Hampshire, who was ordained in 2003.

Glasspool and another bishop ordained in March, Diane M. Jardine Bruce, will be suffragans to Los Angelos Bishop J. Jon Bruno.
