Dillon, Colo., residents elected Ron Holland as their mayor Tuesday, according to Summit Daily News.

Holland, a restaurateur, overcame councilman Don Parsons to take the mayor’s seat.

A resident of Dillon for some 10 years, Holland lives with his partner, has two children and is a longtime HIV/AIDS activist, according to the Victory Fund via Towleroad.com.
