DC Comics is set to release a Batwoman-centric serialized comic, according to the NY Daily News.

Batwoman, DC Comics first openly gay superhero, first appeared in DC’s “Detective Comics” series, according to the report.

“But it [her sexuality] just lingers in the background with her,” Manhattan comic book store Forbidden Planet owner Jeff Ayers told the Daily news. “They treat her like a normal person – which is a fantastic thing.”
