The Great Hall in the Boston, Mass., State House will host an LGBT and Allies College Fair giving high school students who are interested in “LGBT friendly colleges” the opportunity to look into what the universities have to offer, according to Edge magazine.
More than 40 colleges are expected to participate in the fair such as: Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, Brandeis, Emerson as well as the Universities of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Texas, according to Edge.

The fair is one of the “first that is being sponsored by the Boston-based Friends of GLBT Youth in partnership with Campus Pride.” Campus Pride also held events like this in San Diego, Philadelphia and Minneapolis. “Our goal is to offer our national fair program in every region of the country in the next two years,” said Shane Windmeyer, who is the organization’s executive director.
