“Santa Clause is Coming Out!” – a satirical off-Broadway play portraying a gay Santa Clause – has been met with scorn by many conservative groups.

Jeffrey Solomon’s script features a relationship between jolly old St. Nick and Geppetto, the Italian tinkerer.

Some of the show’s profits have aided the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, which works to end homophobia and antigay actions in schools.
