Illinois House passes landmark gay-inclusive anti-bullying bill

The Illinois house of representatives Friday passed a landmark bill protecting gays from bullying in school, according to the Advocate.

The Illinois house of representatives Friday passed a landmark bill protecting gays from bullying in school, according to the Advocate.

In a 108-0 vote, the house passed the bill, which requires schools to adopt anti-bullying policies inclusive of sexual orientation and gender identity, among other things.
