Lady Gaga’s performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last night was absolutely brilliant. She started off with a monologue, dressed as her alter ego, Jo Calderone, a crass, cigarette smoking, beer drinking man. It’s worth mentioning that Gaga won best female performer in this guise.
