Pop icon Lady Gaga’s latest music video caused a stir with both conservatives and members in the transgendered community, Towleroad.com reports.

Culture Campaign President Sandy Rios appeared on FOX News to discuss the video, which she says, “is just poison for the minds for our kids, and for our minds for that matter,” according to the article.

But members from the LGBTQ community, Gaga’s self-proclaimed fanbase, took qualms with the “transmisogyny” portrayed in her “Telephone” video.

In the video, Gaga demonstrates her lack of male genitalia while two “trans women guards” comment on her gender, the article continued. Community members suggest this hinders the perception of the expression of transgendered people who may experience gender outside the realm of genitalia.
