LGBT Rally at Binghamton University Creates Awareness for National March

Binghamton University in New York held a rally in order to make people more aware of the National Equality March as well as LGBT equal rights issues.

A group of students at Binghamton University, in New York, rallied last Thursday to raise aRally Leaders try to get people involved in the march wareness of the National Equality March, which is intended to gain equal protection for LGBT persons and is scheduled for Oct. 11 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The Student Associated-chartered rally hosted by Rainbow Pride Union and their subgroup Out loud and the College Democrats, was meant to try and get students to sign up to go to the march, according to the Pipe Dream article. The count of participants for the trip is about 40 people from the campus.
