A Connecticut man has been arrested for the murder of a woman that he found out was sleeping with his daughter, according to Advocate.com
49-year-old Luis Otero confessed to his sister on March 7th that he had killed Madeline Brisson after learning that she had been sleeping with his daughter, as reported by The Hartford Courant. A few hours later, Otero turned himself over to the police.
As reported by the police statement, Otero and Brisson were roommates. Otero told police that Brisson has been drinking and accused him of not caring for his daughter efficiently, who is mentally challenged. Otero claimed that Brisson then confessed the two had been sleeping together.
Otero killed Brisson and stuffed her body in a freezer after he “flipped out.” He told police the exact location as to where to find the body and said he even left the lights on for the police.
Otero is set at a $2 million for bail. The next court date will be April 14.
