CONCORD—After six weeks of a gay marriage law, the New Hampshire House of Representatives is reviewing two measures to not only repeal, but also to prohibit gay marriage.
Opposition is circulating around this issue, and the House Judiciary Committee recommended the House deny both proposals.
State Republicans are worried, though, about the influence the gay marriage law is affecting children.
Republican Representative Nancy Elliott said New Hampshire schools are “showing presentations of anal sex … They are showing our fifth graders how they can actually perform this kind of sex … that is the context of the lesson, that ‘This is something that you, as a fifth grader, you may want to try.’”
The House has not yet made a decision on the issue.
