In Cologne, Germany, Thomas Brandl and Michael Koenigsfeld, are in the business of making coffins specifically for the gay community. They have coffins and urns in rainbow, and some coffins have images of naked and muscular men on them. The undertakers even have a tree that they reserved for homosexual burials.

“We believe you should be able to have a coffin that lets you embark on your last journey in a way that reflects how you lived your life,” undertaker Thomas Brandl told Reuters.com.

The coffins, are definitely something unique that can allow people to do just what Mr. Brandl said. If you think about it, being able to be buried in something that completely represents you is a great way to go. If you are going to be in the dirt in a box anyways, might as well do it with a bang, in something that is as you as it can be. To Mr. Brandl and Mr. Koenigsfeld, my hat goes off to you for your idea of personalized coffins.
