Researchers at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., have decided to spearhead a new branch of research to determine the causes of hatred.
Jim Mohr, director of GU’s Institute for Action Against Hate, is establishing this field of hate studies because no institution has expressly tried to evaluate this important issue to date.
The objectives of the program are to dissect the reasons why humans hate one another and to find solutions for the animosities that have afflicted humanity for millennia.
“We can change,” Mohr assured. “There has to be hope.”
