Bluewater Productions is set to release a comic based on the veteran lesbian comedian, according to a press release on its Web site.
“Female Force: Ellen DeGeneres” will feature Ellen’s life story in comic format as part of the production company’s female biography line of comics, the statement reads.
“People forget what a groundbreaking talent she is,” Bluewater Vice President Jason Schultz said, “and that fame did not come overnight.”
Some of the proceeds from the comic’s sale will go to The Humane Society.
