Fusion’s newest photo spread revisits the good ole’ days of slow dancing in high school gymnasiums.

For many, Prom was the defining moment of student life in High School. But for many LGBT students, it was a day full of struggles or awkwardness.

To commemorate this year’s prom season, Brooke DiDonato, Fusion’s photo editor, and photojournalist Hannah Potes led a 12-page photo spread project that relives the days of High School Prom LGBT-style.
