In an interview on yesterday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jane Lynch admitted DeGeneres is one of the reasons she came out.
Lynch, who plays Glee‘s maniacal cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, said DeGeneres’ coming out during the peak of her career was inspirational. This summer, Lynch married partner and lawyer Lara Embry in one of the most high-profile gay weddings this year. During the same interview, she also jokingly outed Julia Roberts, but that’s beside the point.
