Clay Aiken gave a speech Saturday during a Human Rights Campaign dinner in North Carolina. The American Idol star came out last year and has just started campaigning for gay rights.

Perhaps the most charged language Aiken used came when he said, “We have a great deal of more work to do. Our time is now and it’s about damn time.”
