Kent State Health Center To Offer Free HIV Testing In Honor of World Aids Day

On Wednesday, December 5th, DeWeese  Center here on campus is giving free  Testing in commemoration of World  Day.

World AIDS Day was Saturday, but the center has decided to dedicate their free testing this month in honor of the day.

Appointments are available until 4 p.m. The testing is done by appointment only and must be registered ahead of time. Those looking to get tested must also must have a photo ID present when they arrive.

DeWeese will have another day of free testing on December 5, which will be the last day of testing for the semester.

The center usually offers about a dozen days out of the academic year for free HIV testings. There are no walk-in appointments but you can still make an appointment. The center said there are about 10 open appointments left.

To make an appointment, call the center at 330-672-2320. Testing only takes 30-45 mins and results are given following the test or a contact number can be left behind to receive results.
