We’ve all seen American Apparels “Legalize Gay” T-shirts, but a new campaign recently launched, Legalize Trans, to bring attention and awareness to issues facing transgendered people.
The creators of the campaign, activists Asher Kolieboi and Brian Murphy, feel the Legalize Gay campaign and the gay rights movement in general do not show enough support for the “T” of the GLBT community.
The Legalize Trans funds are to contribute towards gender-transition costs, medical bills, and further trans activism, and the campaign will additionally be launching a website for news, resources and support for transgendered people and their families.
