WASHINGTON — The U.S. Supreme Court blocked a federal judge’s decision to post video on YouTube Monday to broadcast a gay marriage trial in California.

Attorneys defending the gay couple filed a request stating that the broadcast would turn the case into a “media circus” and would intimidate witnesses.
